Grape(s): Melon de Bourgogne, Grenache Blanc, Pinot Gris, Poulsard
Production: Direct-press, 4 weeks maceration in acacia, and > 6 months on skins in neutral oak.
Tasting: Abundant tropical stone fruits, herbs, spices and wildflowers on both the nose and palate, with hints of honey blossom, marmalade, apricots and a gentle brioche (thanks, lees). Long saline finish, and a fleeting sweetness - a stunning blend.
Pairing: Fresh, easy to drink wine - great with chips (but then, isn't everything?).
